About Me

Hello, I’m Magda - a creative facilitator, nature lover, and mum to a little wild woman who reminds me every day how beautiful life can be when we stay curious, messy, and free.

Before She Shed Creative was born, I spent many years in the corporate world. While it taught me resilience, organisation, and how to hold space professionally, I always felt a quiet pull towards something more meaningful. I longed for work that felt more human — rooted in authenticity, creativity, and real connection.

At heart, I am both playful and thoughtful. I love wild swimming, seasonal changes, natural textures, and the simple joy of making something with my hands. I value honest conversation over small talk and believe there is something deeply powerful about slowing down enough to truly notice ourselves and each other. Creativity, for me, is not about perfection — it is about expression, presence, and permission to play.

Why I Created This Work

There was a moment in my life when I realised I could no longer ignore the quiet voice inside me asking for something more real.

After years of living at a fast pace, I began to notice how much modern life asks us to constantly perform — to be productive, efficient, available, and “on” at all times. On the outside everything can look successful and put together, yet inside many of us feel disconnected, tired, or unsure of where we truly belong. I saw this not only in myself, but in the women and mothers around me too.

Becoming a mum deepened this awareness. I started to question the pressure to do more, achieve more, and hold everything together. I felt a strong pull back to something simpler and more honest — to nature, to creativity, and to meaningful human connection.

Nature has always been my greatest teacher. The changing seasons remind me that we are not meant to operate at full capacity all the time. There are natural phases of high energy and rest, expression and reflection, growth and stillness. When we honour these rhythms, life begins to feel more spacious, grounded, and alive.

She Shed Creative was born from this understanding — and from a desire to create spaces where others could experience it too.

What You’ll Experience When You Come to My Space

When you step into a She Shed Creative workshop or gathering, the intention is simple — to offer you a gentle pause from the noise and pressure of everyday life.

These are calm, welcoming spaces where you can slow down, reconnect with your creativity, and feel supported exactly as you are. Whether you are working with natural materials, exploring seasonal craft, or sharing meaningful conversation, there is no expectation to perform or get things “right.” You are simply invited to be present and enjoy the process.

Creativity becomes a doorway. Through making, reflecting, and connecting with nature, many people begin to feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected — both to themselves and to others. Small groups and a relaxed pace allow space for laughter, quiet moments, deeper conversations, and genuine connection.

The people who tend to feel most at home here are thoughtful and curious. They are often navigating busy lives, big transitions, motherhood, or a desire to live more intentionally. They come looking for inspiration, calm, and a sense of connection — and often leave feeling lighter and gently re-energised.

Above all, my hope is that time spent in this space reminds you that creativity is not a luxury. It is a way back to yourself.

A Gentle Invitation

If something here has resonated with you, I warmly invite you to take the next step in whatever way feels right.

You might like to explore the upcoming workshops and gatherings, join a creative session, or simply follow along to see what is unfolding through the seasons. You are also always welcome to get in touch if you feel curious about the work or would like to know whether a particular experience is right for you.

There is no pressure and no expectation — just an open door. And I would love to welcome you.
